When inspiration struck, Maya Amoa was immersed in the kaleidoscope of the West African Ghana market. On a months-
Surrounded by rows of vibrant wax prints, her grandmother\'s brain began to come up with ideas for a new adventure.
Because at the age of 21, Amoa already had his own business: The Galaxy Nebula

She started wearing shirts, cropped tops, hoodie and yoga leggings when she was a student at Westdale high school.
When she looked at Ghanaian craftsmen to make fabrics fashionable, she couldn\'t help but be impressed with their craft.
The problem is that the style they create, the nine-point tops and long dresses, is not what she really likes.
As a result, she purchased some fabrics, tied up with a seamstress who was able to interpret her vision, and began designing a range of contemporary costumes.
\"The fabric itself is considered quite traditional,\" Amoa said of the wax-printed batik fabric, which shows the style of batik in her new business.
But the actual design is very modern.
So . . . . . . My stuff is very eclectic because it\'s integrated into African culture --
Ghana cultural printing in particular, West African printing
More modern shooting.

She felt distracted from the printing itself.
She also has features that match Zara, such as her crop top and pencil skirt with tennis shoes here, which she says is clearly Ghanaian and she rarely sees in Canada.
\"Ideally, I would like to deal with these two issues (Clothing brand)
Because I found that they have the same customers, they are able to cross-sell together. \"She said.
\"I think it would be great to integrate these two ideas into one.
\"AMO also imports jewelry and accessories from Ghana, such as the necklace she wears here, beads made of recycled glass, and Krobo Beads bracelets that she matched with batik bracelets, mini leather bag with her elephant pattern.
Amoah said: \"I think in general, consumers, customers, have been educated about what they are buying, and it is very important that there is an ethical process behind it, the focus is on creating ethical and responsible clothing.

Grab a piece: I have this
Shoulder and these bells
The pants at the bottom are matched and it is just a very vibrant print.
This is a green leaf pattern.
I sold it too.
This is a leaf-rich palm tree pattern that gets a lot of compliments every time I put it on.
The weirdest wardrobe item: full denim jumpsuit-a long-
Long sleeve top, then fully connected, only trousers.
A bit like a Canadian tuxedo.
I bought it from the black market antique store in Toronto. Wardrobe must-
Yes, although I like bold design --
I like the color, I need the color
If you have a lot of colors in your wardrobe, it\'s very important that you have to have something neutral, whether it\'s crazy pants and plain black suspenders or something like that.
Best buy: anything I like is considered My Best Buy.
One example is this very shiny gold dress that has a really cool pattern as part of the skirt section. . .
But it\'s too long.
Long-sleeved, even a high-collar shirt, I bought it for 80 cents when I was at the Berlin flea market . . . . . . It\'s a good deal, and I always wear it.
Regret buying: Probably one of my 10 jeans jackets. . .
Just because I haven\'t found enough chance to put them all on yet.
Like shopping in the market.
But when I travel across Europe, I always go to the market.
I always go to the flea market, the clothing market, and I\'m there wherever I can bargain or get a lot of stuff.
Get rid of her closet: I don\'t like camping outfits a bit now --
Camouflage, military jacket. . .
I feel like I\'m going through a bad phase, so I get it.
I don\'t know if I can fix this.
That\'s what I said, but it\'s still hanging in my closet just in case.
Splurge: I don\'t splurge a lot, but when I splurge, if there is a sale in Value Village, that might be the case.
If things were at full price, I would end up spending more money than I would.
Beauty products she cannot leave: lipstick.
In terms of color, dark lips. A dark cherry.
