Painting seasonal T-shirts for two T-shirt projects in July 4 is a great way to make them during the holidays.

Summer is the season for T-shirts, and these comfortable tops are the perfect canvas for both young and old people to paint red, white and blue work.

These painted T-shirts require 2 white T-shirts--
Be sure to get the right size, and equally important, be sure to wash and dry them before starting the paint, as sizing in the new fabric prevents the paint from being set up correctly.
Process/fabric paint in red, blue and gold--
I used hand paint but there was fabric paint and pen.
3 paper trays--
One paint for each color.
Cover the paper on the sheet.
Brush for the design you choose--
I just need a thin line on these designs.
Patriotic template--
I use them for the basic design of both projects.
When painting, the paper inserted between the front and back of the T-shirt--
I just used a spam on these little shirts, but there was no newspaper.
Clean the card sheet and insert between the front and back for ironing.
White paper towel for ironing.
Start drawing two July 4 T-
The first T-shirt
The shirt design was designed for an excellent boy who grew up rapidly.
His design needs a formal look.
In the left front shoulder area, I outlined the basic design with a template.
I use a thin line brush to outline the design with a brush and fill this small design with the same brush.
After allowing the first layer of paint to dry, I checked the red and blue areas again and highlighted the red bottom with the blue line.
When this step dries, I highlight the blue stars with gold and add points above the red area.
After the Golden dry, I turned it over again, so that there would be a more prominent place.
The shirt was hung for hours and I went to wear the girl\'s shirt. The second t-
The shirt was designed for a toddler or a little girl.
I want something whimsical, but t-with her brother-shirt.
Again, I used the template to outline the basic design in the left front shoulder area.
Then I use the liner brush and fill in the small area in red and blue colors.
After allowing that layer of paint to dry, I deepened the color on the design with another layer of paint.
I forgot to take a picture of the design before adding the gold highlights, but it\'s not hard to imagine what it looks like at this point.
Red and Blue need to be completely dry before I finish the golden accent.
Using metal gold and fine liner brushes, I highlighted the stars and added the gold dots to my shoulders as shown.
I placed the bigger dots between the stars, and when I faded the designs on my shoulders, they got smaller.
The technology works, it looks like the stars are flying in the air-
Well, I think so anyway. :)
The last step of the July 4 T-shirt is important. The craft paint I use is permanent on the porous item, but on the gym clothes for women that are going to be cleaned it requires steam ironing to set it up correctly.
Even so, cold hand washing is the best way to clean the T-shirt.
To iron, put the clean card paper in the shirt.
Heat iron with steam.
Put the white paper towel on the painted design.
Steam ironing part starts every 60 seconds.
Press hard, don\'t worry.
The paint needs to be leveled and installed.
I looked at my design twice.
Gently peel paper towels when the whole design is well pressed.
Slip card inventory of T-shirts.
It takes about an hour to dry the shirt.
Check before folding and putting in the gift bag to make sure the paint is not tacky.
